USO Rota Volunteer Selected as EMEA Volunteer of Quarter III
Please join our team in congratulating Rosalyn “Ross” Cruz of USO Rota, for being selected as the Europe, Middle East, and Africa Volunteer of Quarter III.
Ross was selected for this honor because of her positive attitude and collaborative spirit! Over the past two years, Ross has given 650 hours at over 50 programs while volunteering with USO Rota. She has contributed to programs like Coffee Connections, paint nights, Cornhole Hour and Cup of Joe, which have impacted over 3,000 service members and their families.
As a dedicated military spouse, Ross always raises her hand to volunteer to support USO outreach events and those with community partners. Her bubbly personality and enthusiasm help attract others to take part in volunteering.
“Ross is a joy to be around and has an infectious laugh that makes you smile,” said USO Rota Center Operations Specialist, Jessica Haghverdi. “Her volunteer efforts significantly impact everyone she interacts with, either in the center or at events. I can always count on Ross to bring professionalism and commitment to all the events she volunteers for.”
To celebrate Ross’ amazing achievement, the USO Rota team had a fantastic bowling party. The team had so much fun showcasing all of Ross’ hard work to her USO friends and families.
USO Rota staff commented "we are so honored to have such a hardworking individual on our team. For anyone who has had the privilege to work alongside Ross, or has met her at an event, can vouch that her energy and positivity is contagious!”
