USO EMEA Regional Operations Volunteer
Are you a social (media) butterfly, or would you describe yourself as “super organized” Maybe you could write and create newsletters all day? Wait! Are you someone who loves numbers and data?! Us, too! Maybe you want to develop your skills in graphic design and developing creative content? If any of those sounds like you, we have a wide variety of projects that will match those interests!
In Operations, we like to think of ourselves as ‘the force behind the force behind the forces’! An operations volunteer will assist the USO EMEA Operations team with duties that support our USO locations through Europe, Middle East, and Africa. We’re looking for regular, dependable superstar volunteers with great skills (or, are looking to further develop their skills) with: Microsoft Office products, Salesforce, volunteer management systems and creativity is a definite plus as no day, and no request from the field is ever the same! You’ll be working alongside our regional staff in the preparation and development of key USO programs throughout the Region.
USO EMEA Mobile Canteen & Logistics Volunteer
The Volunteer will assist and support the Regional Mobile Canteen Coordinator with collaborative interaction between our Regional Coordinator and military organizations, vendors, patrons, and Host Nation Military in support of Mobile Canteen events at various military communities throughout the Germany region. Additionally, the Volunteer will assist with the aspects of the USO Europe warehouse operations and supply management. Routine assistance includes working alongside the Coordinator with receiving, storing, and shipping commodities. Requirements include being physically fit and capable of lifting 50 lbs.
USO EMEA IT Volunteer
The Volunteer will assist our USO EMEA Regional IT Manager with computer systems supporting our regional USO Centers. Requirements include basic knowledge of computer hardware, software systems, and IT management. Volunteer will assist our IT Manager with computer configurations, Center site visit support, computer delivery, including equipment installation and set-up on site.
